Service Writer:
Begin each workday with a positive attitude by encouraging each technician to meet their daily and weekly goals. Work to develop a sense of “team” in the service department and across other departments.
Stage service work for technicians so they can reasonably achieve their daily goals.
Reviews work orders for complete and accurate information.
Ensures work orders are completed in a timely manner with all supporting documentation and complete details on the work order.
Assists in the assignment of work based on the priorities established by management.
Assist with opening and closing of work orders by taking phone calls, reviewing technician’s finding with customers, arranging for payment and processing payment from customers.
Parts Associate:
Begin each workday with a positive attitude . Work to develop a sense of “team” in the parts department and across other departments.
Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store and help them with their specific needs. Maintain a professional appearance.
Receive and fill telephone orders for parts. Receive payment, make proper change and bag or ship merchandise.
Place and receive parts orders in a timely and organized fashion, maximizing vendor programs to reduce costs.
With assistance, responsible for rolling inventory checks.
Continually seeking technical and product knowledge, staying abreast of new developments, study and follow OEM recommendations.
Marks and stores parts in stockroom according to prearranged system.
Keep parts room clean and free of clutter.
AG service technician:
This is a high skill level position requiring you to independently perform equipment diagnostic, service and repairs both at the dealership and traveling to customer locations. Prior experience is a must. We have a growing service department with the opportunity to work with some great customers in the exciting and ever changing agricultural field.
Required skills include:
-Ability to properly diagnose, repair, recondition, and service Compact and Agricultural Tractors, Hay and other Farm Equipment
-Must have the ability to complete jobs both in house and in the field
-Maintain a neat and clean work area and maintain proper care for tools, vehicles and equipment
-Commitment to professional development by attending educational workshops and service schools both online and in classroom
-Familiarity with computer based diagnostic repair tools
-Experience in diesel engine, hydraulics, electrical and emissions is a must.
-Good communication and organizational skills
-Ability to work with a team and multitask.
-Valid driver’s license with excellent driving history (CDL is preferred but not required)
-Expectation is candidate will have an adequate set of tools
